Super Bowl 2025 Ads

Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles for winning Super Bowl 2025!

But let’s be honest—many people tune in to the Super Bowl not just for the game, pre-game festivities, and halftime show, but for the commercials. This behavior was clear in our market research studies on Super Bowl advertising in 2023 and 2024.

As the biggest television broadcast event every year in the United States, the Super Bowl offers an unparalleled opportunity for brands to showcase their creativity and reach millions of viewers nationwide. Of course, this prime exposure comes at a hefty price. In 2025, a 30-second commercial slot cost advertisers between $7 million and $8 million

With such a massive investment, brands are expected to deliver standout, entertaining, and unforgettable ads that capture the attention and engagement of the 125+ million people watching the game. (These ads also hopefully drive incremental demand—something that doesn’t always happen, according to Veylinx’s research on the effectiveness of Super Bowl advertising).

Each year, the internet is flooded with Super Bowl ad rankings. However, since ad preferences are highly subjective, these lists often vary significantly. Take Unilever’s Hellmann’s ad, “When Sally Met Hellmann’s”: it landed on both “most liked” and “least liked” lists, showing just how polarizing some commercials can be. Meanwhile, PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast commercial, “Kiss From a Lime,” featuring Seal’s face on a CGI seal singing his classic hit, was one of the most talked-about ads. Nostalgic, quirky, and undeniably bizarre, it was the kind of commercial that sticks in viewers' minds long after the game ends.

Super Bowl commercials have become a cultural event in their own right, sparking debates, memes, and conversations long after the final whistle. Which ads stood out to you this year?

Here are some of our favorite commercials during the game:

Karina Abdulina, Marketing Manager: I would say that the Mountain Dew Baja Blast was a funny one, and I enjoyed watching it, but I liked Frank’s Red Hot “I Put That on Everything.” It was fast, entertaining, and a good reminder to put some hot sauce on my plate.

Josh: Josh Curran, Business Development Director at Veylinx, was a big fan of Yahoo's ad: “Short but clever. And you can’t go wrong with Bill Murray—I love him.” Another spot that stood out to Josh was Bud Light’s commercial. “It was a hilarious take on suburban dad life, and it featured two of my favorites—Shane Gillis and Peyton Manning.”

Eric: Eric Toohey, Director of Sales in the Americas at Veylinx, also enjoyed the show. The ad that stood out to him the most was Uber Eats. “The writing was brilliant—using football to sell food was a clever move.” Another ad that caught his eye? Pringles Mustache. “Weird, funny, and totally memorable.”

According to USA Today’s Ad Meter, the best commercial of the 2025 Super Bowl was Budweiser’s “First Delivery.” Light-hearted and fun, it certainly took everyone by the heart.
